Niamh stammt aus der Stadt Westport in der Grafschaft Mayo, einer der Stationen entlang der malerischen Küstenstraße Wild Atlantic Way. Sie würde sagen, dass sie hier aufgewachsen ist und sich dabei in die Natur verliebt hat, die immer vor ihrer Haustür lag. Nachdem sie während ihres Studiums ein Auslandsjahr in Bilbao, Spanien, verbracht hatte, packte sie das Reisefieber, das sie bis heute nicht losgelassen hat! Dort wanderte sie auf herrlichen Bergen wie dem Kolitza in der baskischen Landschaft, durchquerte malerische Orte wie das Heiligtum von Covadonga zu Fuß und lernte sogar ein wenig baskische Sprache und Tanz (danza vasca). Diese Erfahrung im Ausland motivierte sie dazu, anderen dieselben Erfahrungen zu ermöglichen und ihnen dabei zu helfen, die gleichen lebenslangen Erinnerungen zu schaffen, die sie aus ihren Abenteuern gewonnen hat.
As a customer experience associate, Niamh is able to use her appreciation of the outdoors to advise hikers on how to make the most of their trip. She may help by crafting walking packs, by pointing them towards local businesses and hot spots, or by simply being a friendly face they can turn to with any concerns.
Outside of work, Niamh is consistently finding new passions. She loves finding the best foodie spots in Galway, walking her dog Tikki when she’s back in Mayo, and trying out new veggie recipes whenever she can. Her truest love, however, is reading. She is always looking for the next thing to read (but actually getting through her reading list is another story!). On top of this, she attends concerts and musicals whenever she can and is generally just up for anything that gets her out of the house!
